Garment quality control is a preventative measure to detect faults and issues that compromises the quality of our products. Here at OTG, we take pride in our strict quality control.
Here are some of the factors that our QC team considers during the garment inspection process:
Checking of Raw Materials
The raw materials, especially the fabric, are examined for quality. Things like the colour, fastness, thickness, gsm are all checked.
Measuring the Dimensions
Wrong size gradation, difference in measurement of one garment part from another, for example, 'M' size sleeve but a 'S' size body. Such defects has to be seen too.
Visual Inspection
Open seams, wrong stitching techniques used, faulty accessories, raw edges, and difference in fabric colors are some sewing defects that could occur so should be taken care of.
All the above checks are necessary to avoid failure of final inspection, rejection of shipments and control over manufacturing cost.
